NTN Tapered Roller Bearings

NTN tapered roller bearings are mainly used to bear radial and axial combined loads mainly based on radial loads, with high stiffness and rotation accuracy, and have large bearing capacity and low limit speed compared with angular contact ball bearings. Its carrying capacity depends on the Angle of the raceway of the outer ring, and the greater the Angle, the greater the carrying capacity. 1. NTN single row tapered roller bearings:

Single row tapered roller bearings are divided into metric series and British series. At the time of design, the cone point of its inner and outer rings and rollers is consistent with a certain point on the bearing center line. Therefore, the true movement of the roller on the rolling surface depends on the resultant force from the raceway surface of the inner and outer ring, and is guided by the extrusion of the large rib of the inner ring. This kind of bearing is especially suitable for radial load and unidirectional axial load and its composite load, and the load capacity is large. The larger the contact Angle, the larger the axial load capacity. Generally two sets of bearings are used in pairs. Tapered roller bearings are mostly used in automobile rear axle hub, large machine tool spindle, high-power reducer, conveyor roller and so on. Cages generally use stamped cages, but large bearings use car cages or support pin cages.

2. NTN double row tapered roller bearings:

Double row tapered bearings have external type (using double row outer rings) and internal type (using double row inner rings). The internal clearance of the bearing should be adjusted before leaving the factory, and the parts of the same production model should be assembled and used according to the symbol requirements. With the increase of the number of roller rows, the radial load capacity of double-row tapered roller bearing increases, and it can also bear large bidirectional axial load. It is mainly used to withstand the combined radial and axial loads, which are mainly radial loads. The axial displacement of the shaft (or housing) in both directions can be limited, so it can be used for two-way axial positioning.

3. NTN four-row tapered roller bearings:

Four-row tapered roller bearings are composed of two double-row inner rings and one double-row outer ring and two single-row outer rings. It can withstand a large two-way axial load, but the limit speed is low. It can limit the axial displacement of the shaft (or housing) in both directions within the range of the axial clearance of the bearing, so it can be used as two-way axial positioning. The diameter and axial clearance of the bearing can be adjusted by changing the thickness of the spacer between the inner and outer rings. The rated load is large, mainly used in rolling mill roll neck and other large load places. This kind of bearings use carbon steel, large bearings also use hollow roller and support pin cage, in order to increase the bearing life.
