Four row tapered roller bearings are successfully used in bearing configurations for rolling mills around the world at low to medium speeds. Due to its design, the bearing is able to withstand the axial loads present in this application in addition to the radial loads, and generally no additional thrust bearings are required in the bearing configuration.
