Split Self-Aligning Roller Bearing
The split type aligning roller bearing comprises a bearing outer ring, a bearing inner ring, a roller and a cage. The bearing outer ring and the bearing inner ring are radially split structure and are composed of two half rings. Ring grooves are arranged on the circumferences at both ends of the bearing inner ring, and the ring grooves are arranged in the ring grooves to fix the two half rings of the bearing inner ring to a clamp.

1. Quickly replace bearings in locations that are difficult to access
Because the replacement of non-split self-aligning roller bearings requires a lot of additional work (including gear or coupling removal, transmission removal, and shaft power unit removal), agent split self-aligning roller bearings are mainly used. The use of split self-aligning roller bearings reduces the downtime of machines and equipment.
2. Carrying capacity
Due to the small pitch circle of the rolling element due to the screws connected in the outer ring, the load capacity of the split self-aligning roller bearing is lower than that of the non-split self-aligning roller bearing. However, due to the maximum number of rollers with the largest possible size (E1 design), these bearings can achieve high load capacity. By using the impact coefficient 1.1, the rotation of the joint is taken into account when calculating the equivalent dynamic load. The dimensions are determined according to the standard calculation method of sample HR 1 rolling bearings.
3.Lubricate
Split aligning roller bearings are usually lubricated with viscosity class 2 lithium grease with EP additive. Lubrication intervals are consistent with those of non-split bearings. Split self-aligning roller bearings can also be re-lubricated through slots and holes in the outer ring.
