Insulated Bearing Hybrid Ceramic

Some typical insulating bearing materials include ceramic, graphite and the famous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Ceramics are widely used in the bearing industry because of their hard diamond, wear-resistant gold and outstanding insulation properties. Graphite is widely used in bearings because of its extremely low friction and high lubrication. PTFE is widely used because of its excellent corrosion resistance and strong insulation. According to actual needs, designers and engineers can also choose other special materials to build insulated bearings. For example, in high temperature and high pressure or harsh environments, metals such as stainless steel or titanium, which are more expensive but have strong corrosion resistance, can be chosen as the first choice.
