Four row cylindrical roller bearings have three main structural types, respectively: FC type, FCD type, FCDP type.

FC type is a separable bearing, mainly small bearings, the whole inner ring can be separated from the complete set of bearings, the complete set of bearings by two outer ring assembly and an inner ring (by 1 inner ring, 2 outer rings, 4 columns of rolling body, 2 cage composition), with high limit speed and interchangeability. The FCD type is a separable bearing, mainly medium and large bearings, and the complete set of bearings is composed of two outer ring assemblies and two inner rings (composed of 2 inner rings, 2 outer rings, 4 columns of rolling elements, 2 cages), with high limit speed and interchangeability. Cages are machined brass or steel cages. These bearings are not only suitable for high speed (35m/S) but also can withstand heavy loads at the same time. Generally, four columns of cylindrical bearings with an internal length of 260mm~400mm are designed for this structure. It is widely used in profile finishing mill and high-speed wire roughing, middle rolling and pre-finishing rolling parts, including the back-up roll, middle roll and work roll parts of cold rolling nonferrous and ferrous metal mills below 950.

FCDP type is mainly oversized bearings, rolling mill roller diameter bearings are typical of this kind of bearings, parts can be separated from each other, high precision can achieve position interchange, installation, disassembly, cleaning is very convenient, in a given installation space, can provide the maximum radial load capacity, and has a low friction coefficient. Therefore, it is suitable for high speed, heavy load and harsh working environment of rolling mill diameter.
1. Aligning performance.
The outer raceway of this bearing is machined into a spherical shape, and the inner ring has two deep groove raceways, so that it has aligning performance, which means that they can automatically compensate for coaxial errors caused by shaft deflection, housing deformation or installation errors, and are suitable for support seats.
2. Carrying capacity.
Such bearings mainly bear radial load, but also can bear a small amount of two-way axial load, but can not bear pure axial load or torque load, while bearing radial load, can also bear a small amount of axial load.
3. Application scenario.
Because of its aligning performance and bearing capacity, double-row aligning ball bearings are widely used in double-supported shafts, especially in the case of bending or deformation under load, such as combine harvester and other agricultural machinery, blower, paper machine, textile machinery, woodworking machinery, bridge crane wheel and drive shaft.
4. Install and adjust.
The standard design of double-row aligning ball bearings has cylindrical inner holes, and also has conical inner holes, the taper of the conical inner holes is 1:12 or 1:30. The double-row aligning ball bearings with tapered holes can be directly fixed on the conical journal with the help of the locking nut, or the corresponding size of the tightening sleeve or the withdrawal sleeve is easy to install the bearings on the cylindrical shaft. The radial clearance of the bearing can also be adjusted using the set sleeve.
